Our History
Impresa Tessile was founded in 2012 in Bulciago (LC) in the heart of a textile district historically specialised in the processing of synthetic fibres.
The core business lies in the transformation and finishing of 100% Made in Italy technical fabrics for clothing. Therefore, redeveloping and innovating the potential of Italian synthetic fibre at the service of the most prestigious fashion brands with collections of nylon and polyester fabrics specific for urban outerwear and activewear as well as blends ideal for exclusive fashion creations.

Thanks to the quality of the fabrics and the exclusive finishing, Impresa Tessile is positioned in the medium-high range and from the start established itself as a strategic supplier for prestigious brands dealing with exclusive fashion outerwear and technical clothing collections, especially for skiing and activewear, as well as high-end beachwear.
A distinct know-how, collaborations with some of the most prestigious brands, a solid production chain and the ever-increasing awareness of environmental issues has allowed Impresa Tessile to quickly establish itself on the national and international market.

Cristina Fumagalli and Marco Gandolfi have over thirty years’ experience in the textile industry, they lead the company with passion, interacting directly with stylists and designers of the most prestigious brands.
Throughout the years the company growth has been constant. Starting with the first plant in Bulciago; in 2019 Impresa Tessile moved to new headquarters in Sirone which includes offices, styling department, warehouse and logistics. Impresa Tessile has always been characterized by innovation and continuous improvement.

Thanks to a streamlined and flexible organization, Impresa Tessile is able to quickly manage both large and important supplies as well as special capsule collections which can be customized in terms of graphics and colours, with low minimum orders, perfect for dedicated single-run productions.

Sustainability and waste reductions are one of the important individualities of Impresa Tessile, which offers the fashion world a continuously developing range of recycled and regenerated post-consumer fabrics with the specific aim of renewing the supply chain with a view to upcycling/recycling.
